I have known Theo Bezuidenhout for almost 2 decades and have worked closely with him for a number of years. Theo has become a world-class expert in his field of sport psychology and his results have proven this. Not only has Theo helped top amateurs to reach their potential but he has helped some of the world’s top professionals to win international golf tournaments. Over the years Theo has been extremely generous with his time and expertise, often supplying his service and guidance to the South African Golf Development Board (SAGDB) as well as GolfRSA at no charge. His generosity is matched by his professionalism and commitment to his work. South Africa is fortunate to have Theo’s talents available to our National Squad of golfers and his work with our top players is proving invaluable. On behalf of the SAGDB and GolfRSA I can say that Theo is a sport psychologist of the highest level and we are grateful for his involvement with our organisations.
Grant Hepburn: Chief Executive Officer Golf RSA
I started my journey with sport psychology really early in my life. At the age of 10 I started encountering situations with professional athletes who questioned my position in the sport, and because of that I started questioning myself. Doing small things through sport psychology opened a whole new world of thinking. I was able to push my own boundaries and create opportunities I never thought were possible. During the past 2 years it has been one of my biggest support structures, in all the avenues of my life, teaching me self-motivation, perseverance and complete mental focus. The most important thing sport psychology has taught me is that nothing is ever a problem, only a challenge. I believe that without the help of a sport psychologist mental barriers could begrudge you the opportunity of reaching your full potential.

When my family and I initially joined your program, we thought that your services would only help me with my golf. Little did we know that your end goal was to develop me holistically and instill foundational values that would reach all aspects of my life. Not only had you managed to improve my golf mentality, but rather altered my personal culture as a whole. The shift from goal to process driven has been one of the most critical in my life. It not only allowed me to remain consistent and improve at a sustainable rate but also helped me through the rough periods, understanding that if I continued putting in the work the results would eventually show. Your commitment to developing such a strong. honest and personal relationship with me and my family really helped cement the advice you would give me because it came from someone who understood my values and direction. Your program has truly impacted my life, and I feel prepared to make the most of all the opportunities and obstacles I face ahead.

I have known Theo Bezuidenhout for over a decade in his role as sport psychologist. In that time, he has continually demonstrated his dedication to being a custodian of the game through a combination of hard work, intuition and an intimate knowledge of his clients. He is unrivalled in the area of sport psychology and his impact on golf is widespread, well beyond his influence on the game in South Africa. As Head Coach at Texas Christian University (TCU) I have had the opportunity to recruit many of Theo’s clients for our golf program. I have found his insights into his players, as well as other South African players, to be forthright, professional and unfailingly honest. This in turn has assisted me to get the best from our South African recruits. It is therefore my honor and pleasure to recommend Theo to any organization or individual seeking to find that mental edge that all of us in the games of golf, and life, are searching for.

As a coach who comes from a playing background I have always known and realized the importance of having a sport psychologist as part of my support team. I have also encouraged my students to do the same and Theo has done a great job to help me to increase the understanding that both my students and I have of the psychological side of this great but tough game. Thank you for the countless hours you have spent with my students Theo and I am sure together we can help many more golfers fulfill their dreams. Just like I have with a strong mental game!

I've had the privilege of working with Theo Bezuidenhout, not as a professional golfer per say (even he can't fix my golf!) but in my capacity as a business owner in the health and fitness industry. Theo’s understanding of what drives an individual to achieve a desired goal is amazing. His ability to "unpack" insecurities and challenges to equip you with tools to better manage these obstacles is again, nothing short of amazing. Theo has a sixth sense in understanding the human psyche and identifying drivers to help you maximize your experience in which ever field that might be. He provides clarity to those "fuzzy" thoughts, by guiding you with practical solutions. His inspiring online content from "Theory Thursday's" and "Focus Friday's" to Al Pacinos "Any given Sunday" speech gives you that daily dose of motivation to keep pushing on pushing on.
