A way to make this anxiety less threatening or less “abstract”  is to locate it in your body.

Next, give the anxiety a shape, a colour and a name.

    The last step is to release the anxiety.

So, my anxiety is now a triangle, it is orange and it’s called Bob.


  “Hey, Bob…

I see you, I’m aware of you.

I know it’s normal that we are meeting one another again…”

“I have to let you go by doing my breathing exercises…

Because there are other ACTIONS that I need to focus on.”
